Early Literacy Based Curriculum:
We are committed to, and incorporate, early literacy education in all aspects of our curriculum. Phonological and phonemic awareness relate to individual sounds and the ability to hear and distinguish small and large sound units. The knowledge of how letters represent and correspond to different sounds is phonics. Success with phonics depends on success with phonemic awareness. All of these skills are necessary for young children to build a strong foundation for reading and spelling success.

We know, and research tells us too, academic performance throughout the school years is directly related to reading proficiency. Our commitment to early literacy education means we incorporate phonological , phonemic and phonic awareness in our curriculum at age and developmentally appropriate levels. Our early literacy based curriculum features art, music, science, language, dramatic play and the development of pre-reading, reading and pre-math and math skills, physical education, computer education and more. Activities allow for accomplishment, challenge and enjoyment. |
Early Readers Club:

Our early reader academic club provides children demonstrating advanced reading readiness the opportunity to enhance and develop their reading skills under the guidance of inspiring leaders. Members meet weekly. |
Optional Enrichment Classes:
Classes are offered on a weekly basis for a nominal additional charge and are available to all students. Available activities may include Spanish, fitness, music, dance, reading and woodworking among others. These classes are taught by professionals in their specific area of expertise.
